General Description

This position will support the Air Force Human Resource (HR) Systems Division’s HR Systems Management Branch (AFCMC/HIHS) with a focus on moving web-based HR applications to the commercial cloud. The ideal candidate will provide program management guidance and expertise in support of assigned programs to include documentation and reporting. Additionally, the candidate will serve as a sounding-board for various HR application program managers and the Branch Chief in areas related to day-to-day operations, cloud migration, and best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

Dedicated senior project manager responsible for program management and technical advice relative to the migration of applications from existing Government hosting facilities to Amazon’s AWS or Microsoft Azure. The project manager support the planning for project execution and coordinate across all stakeholder groups inclusive of: Government PMOs, functional user communities, DISA (current hosting environment), AWS or Azure (target hosting environment), multiple test organizations, the Government Capabilities Integration Environment (CIE), and multiple security groups.

Specialized Knowledge
  • Establish program management support for the cloud migration program within the HR Systems/A1 portfolio.
  • Assist various HR Systems project managers with planning, organizing, and implementing program execution tasks.
  • Plan for cloud data center’s Management Service Operations contract support.
  • Assist in comparing program direction and guidance in program management directives, plans, and other program documents with current in-place contracts, and identify discrepancies and recommend actions.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and integration of selected documentation, periodic reports, and certifications as identified in DoDI 5000.2, NSSAP 03-01 and other DoD Directives, and recommend and prepare changes.
  • Assist in reviewing contractor deliverable status together with milestone schedules, status reports, and cost performance reports.
  • Assist in preparing briefings and reports in direct support of the program management function and program reviews.
  • Perform analysis of contractor cost/schedule; document and raise issues to management.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating risks to the program.

Qualifications
Education Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience
Professional Certifications PMP (Project Management Professional)
Clearance Either currently hold or ability to acquire a U.S. Security Clearance
Experience 10+ years of experience, with at least 1-2 years direct experience with application migrations
US Citizen or Similar Must be a U.S. Citizen
Skills and Abilities
  • Experience managing/migrating applications in/to the cloud

The ideal candidate will provide program management guidance and expertise to include documentation and reporting. Additionally, the candidate will serve as a sounding-board for various finance and accounting application program managers and the Branch Chief in areas related to day-to-day operations, R12 migration, application updates, and best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

Dedicated senior project manager responsible for program management and technical advice relative to the migration of the DEAMS application to Oracle R12, the implementation of Oracle’s UPK, and supporting the training of users on new capabilities and functions of Oracle R12. In addition, the candidate will provide project management support for the planning and execution of solution updates which implement new capabilities and will coordinate across all stakeholder groups inclusive of: the DEAMS PMO, the functional user community, DISA (current hosting environment), multiple test organizations, the Government Capabilities Integration Environment (CIE), and multiple security groups.

General Description

This project involves providing program and acquisition management to defense business system initiatives during a program’s early planning stages and prior to a program’s transfer to a formal Program Management Office. In includes the application of DoDI 5000.75 processes and procedures, supporting capability and requirements definition, developing plans for a executing alternative solution proof-of-concepts, and supporting early acquisition milestones.

Duties and Responsibilities

Dedicated senior project manager responsible for the aggregation of business needs into program initiatives, the formal definition of program initiatives, and participation in the execution of SDDP Phases 1 through 4 to include guiding the development of requisite documentation. Additionally, the candidate is responsible for guiding the preparation for the Solution Analysis and Functional Requirements ATPs, the development of required acquisition documentation (i.e., program charters, AoAs, acquisition strategy panel documents and briefings, market research, ISPs, RFP development, program office estimates, etc.), and defining and leading the execution of pilot efforts to validate business requirements and technology alternatives.

Specialized Knowledge
  • Applies knowledge and experience in acquisition program management to specified initiatives through the Functional Requirements ATP and supports the transition of initiatives to formal program offices.
  • Applies the acquisition process (DODI 5000.75) to defined initiatives and leads cross-functional teams through the early acquisition phases by using acquisition streamlining, integrated systems management, acquisition strategies, best practices and lessons learned.
  • Plan and lead requirements gathering and development sessions and process modeling activities,
  • Plan and lead initiative pilot activities,
  • Support the development of program plans and cost estimates,
  • Develop and/or lead the development of required required program acquisition documentation. Develop ASP documentation and presentations and support Government program managers in obtaining program and ASP approvals,
  • Assist the Program Manager in assessing that programs are within schedule and cost baselines.
  • Able to recommend viable solutions to problems and the pursuit of alternative courses of action.
  • Prepare weekly activity reports.

Qualifications
Education Bachelor’s Degree and 8-10 years of experience

General Description

The successful candidate will, under general supervision, perform analytical and technical support for the installation of new and existing personal computer systems and software using the AF Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC). The candidate will troubleshoot and resolve system hardware and software issue, provide imaging and configuration services, perform inventory management of PCs, and ensure detailed accountability for IT assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking PC Systems Specialist to maintain, install, troubleshoot and rollout workstations following AF Standard Desktop Configuration. Configure systems with required images, software, hardware and peripherals and have the skills and knowledge to work with the latest office automation software and network operating systems, i.e., Windows (all versions), Windows SharePoint, Microsoft Office (all versions). Ensure that any government desktop, peripheral or component moved or installed into service is fully functional and ensure user documents and files are transferred to new hardware as needed. In addition, deliver/set-up external peripheral devices, troubleshoot user PC and network issues, provide IT Help Desk support, and perform inventory management and documentation services.


Qualifications
Specialized Knowledge Windows operating system, Microsoft applications.
Education HS degree.
Professional Certifications Security+, A+, or Network+
Clearance Either currently hold or ability to acquire a U.S. Security Clearance.
Experience 2 years. Federal government support, especially Air Force and/or Dept. of Defense along with AF medical systems related experience is a plus.

General Description

Provide IT support to commercial clients, both on-site and remotely within approximately a one (1) hour radius of Dayton, OH.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide initial diagnostics and troubleshooting of customer workstations to investigate and resolve computer system problems with hardware, software, operating systems, peripherals, network connections, and configurations from the help desk.
  • Use the Government approved standard Trouble Ticket system to record calls and walk-up requests. Successful candidates will log each request for service that is received and status each request through resolution or elevation to a higher-level help desk
  • Maintain an up-to-date listing of information on other Help Desk points of contact for non-core host and application systems and attempt to refer customers to resources capable of resolving all customer problems outside pre-defined areas of responsibility.

Qualifications
Education Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or related field. Relevant DoD or technical experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement.
Professional Certifications
  • CompTIA Security+ certification required
  • A current information assurance certification to perform information assurance functions in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.
