General Description

The successful candidate will be part of a team working on a government project to provide application hosting and migration expertise with special emphasis on cyber security and information assurance. This position will require detailed knowledge related to hardware, network, operating system software and DISA infrastructure components associated with a multi-node implementation of the Oracle eBusiness Suite.

The project is envisioned to address current cyber security and information assurance challenges through the acquisition of an integrated set of tools, services, and capabilities supporting the needs of the United States Air Force and United States Transportation Command financial communities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate has strong knowledge of how the Government addresses the definition and implementation of IPs and host names; the definition and configuration of ports, protocols, and firewall components; and the integration of large scale applications with DISA’s F5 implementation and configuration.
  • The candidate should have knowledge of information assurance in a DoD/USAF environment. This includes running DISA STIGs and SCANs and/or evaluating results and recommending hardware/software/operating system modifications to address identified vulnerabilities.

Specialized Knowledge
  • Significant breadth and depth of knowledge and experience with Sun platforms, Solaris operating systems, Windows platforms and the Windows operating system.
  • Knowledge and experience supporting all facets of information assurance, the development of DIACAP/RMF documentation packages, and marshalling documentation through to the granting of system ATOs and ATCs.
  • This individual must be highly-motivated and able to work with little management directions.

General Description

The successful candidate will provide senior technical services to support the Core Financial Systems (CFS) suite of systems using a variety of Unisys products and provide performance analysis and capacity planning to include coordination with Unisys as needed for problem resolution.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide senior functional and technical services required to maintain the CFS operational and developmental environments resulting from: hardware and software upgrades; technology/data migrations directed to maintain current technologies; vendor software changes; and course of action modifications to implement changes to Laws, Regulations and Policies (LRP). This individual will be responsible for functional trouble-shooting and problem resolution as well as first-line interaction with users of the GAFS-DTS system while also performing similar duties in a back-up role for the WinGAMPS/WinMOOPS system. In addition, the candidate will participate in: requirements analysis of government Configuration Control Board (CCB) approved Deficiency Reports (DRs) and System Change Requests (SCRs); Business Process Directory (BPD) System Requirements Reviews; Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions; Peer Reviews; formal Systems Engineering Reviews; and Test Readiness Reviews.

General Description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer (Intermediate) to provide technical support on a government task.  The candidate will assist in defining, designing, and developing system requirements.  In addition, the candidate will assist in assessing architecture and current hardware limitations, defining and designing complex system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility; coordinating design of subsystems and integration of total system; analyzing and resolving difficult and complicated program support deficiencies; conducting independent technical investigations in systems design; and coordinating and consolidating design efforts on major products.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support successful SPS interface transaction processing tasks such as analysis, troubleshooting, and configuration support.
  • Provide evaluation of third party software, usage recommendations, and alternative solutions for SPS translator/interface issues.
  • Assist sites and resolve issues with SPS standardized scheduled tasks as applicable to adapter and database servers.
  • Support sites and resolve issues with XML (SPS schemas) issues/implementation.

General Description

The successful candidate will provide Information Technology (IT) services for the Wright Patterson Medical Center (WPMC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force (AF) Base (WPAFB), OH. The candidate will manage and administer system lifecycle actions for applications and servers, both hardware and software, within associated policy, to keep all servers compliant with DoD’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) objectives for the Group’s entire Windows based server enclave. In addition, the candidate will perform advanced Security Implementation Guide (STIG) application and patching requirements for high availability, virtualized assets including SQL Server databases, Oracle Server databases, SharePoint and IIS Servers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Interfaces with user community to understand their security needs and implements procedures to accommodate them. Ensures that user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security. May require familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures. Conducts accurate evaluation of the level of security required. May require understanding of firewall theory and configuration. Must be able to weigh business needs against security concerns and articulate issues to management.

Specialized Knowledge
The successful candidate will have:
  • A complete understanding of system security measures to fulfill RMF requirements according to DoD 8510.01
  • Knowledge of the controls procedures in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
  • Experience with certification and accreditation, auditing, creating Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) for systems in accordance with DoD, AF, DHA, local regulations, instructions, guidelines, and policies
Qualifications
Education Masters degree in information assurance/cyber security or a Bachelors degree with 10 years of Cyber experience.
Professional Certifications CISSP or 10 years of Cyber experience, Security+

General Description

The successful candidate will, under general supervision, perform analytical and technical support for the installation of new and existing personal computer systems and software using the AF Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC). The candidate will troubleshoot and resolve system hardware and software issue, provide imaging and configuration services, perform inventory management of PCs, and ensure detailed accountability for IT assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking PC Systems Specialist to maintain, install, troubleshoot and rollout workstations following AF Standard Desktop Configuration. Configure systems with required images, software, hardware and peripherals and have the skills and knowledge to work with the latest office automation software and network operating systems, i.e., Windows (all versions), Windows SharePoint, Microsoft Office (all versions). Ensure that any government desktop, peripheral or component moved or installed into service is fully functional and ensure user documents and files are transferred to new hardware as needed.
